1. Plug in your computer (this is important)!
2. Press and hold the power button (second from the right on the top row of your keyboard) to turn your computer off, if it is not off yet.
3. After the computer is powered off entirely, press the power button again, and immediately begin tapping F11 (this is in the top row of keys and has an airplane mode symbol on the key.).  You need to do this BEFORE the HP logo pops up.
   
4. On the HP Sure Recover Screen, choose Restore from local drive.
5. From there, the computer will begin a long process of factory resetting.  Please make sure, again, that the computer is plugged into power.
6. After the computer finishes resetting, answer the questions (e.g. Are you in the US (yes)? Is this a US keyboard? (yes)... etc.).
7. When it asks you to connect to the WiFi, choose I don't have internet.
   1. If you don't see I don't have internet:
   2. Hit Shift and F10 at the same time.
   3. The terminal will pop up
   4. Type the following command: OOBE\BYPASSNRO
   5. Hit Enter
   6. Wait until it restarts.  Now you should have the option to select I don't have internet.
8. It will ask you if you want to do a limited setup: choose the limited setup.
9. You will want to choose a username Do not use your hawks email as the username!!!
10. Choose a password for the computer.  WRITE THIS PASSWORD DOWN.
11. Set up 3 security questions following the prompts.  WRITE THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS DOWN.

You should be ready to go!
